The Alexander Rose New England range is manufactured using our Acacia timber coated in a satin polyurethane paint, the furniture has been beautifully transformed making it fresh, clean and suitable for any environment. All products in the New England range are FSC 100% certified.
The white Painted Acacia furniture is produced by applying a polyurethane paint to the Acacia timber. After time there may be hairline cracks in the finish, due to the timber moving. Expansion and contraction of timber is normal and is caused by climatic variation, this is more noticeable around the joints.
New England benches are designed to be used outside, we recommend regular maintenance to retain their original condition. This can be done by sanding the affected area down to the natural timber, a reddish colour, then evenly re-applying a white satin polyurethane paint to the area. Polyurethane paint can be purchased from any DIY or Hardware store.
