This product should not be used in extreme weather conditions; storms, heavy winds, hail, and snow.

In the case of strong winds or snow, we recommend leaving the louvres open. They can withstand over 50km hour, 7 on the Beaufort scale. To maintain good working conditions of the louvres, clear any snow.

This pergola can withstand heavy rain, however we cannot guarantee it will be 100% waterproof due to some extreme weather conditions.

Exceptional climatic events may compromise the perfect sealing of the product.

To avoid any damage or injuries, we do not recommend climbing on the roof or the structure of the pergola.

If blinds have been purchased as an additional accessory, pull them up when not in use.

When in use, the blinds can be used up to 6 on the Beaufort scale which is 49kmh.

No changes can be made to the product. Products tampered with by the user are not covered by the warranty, thus being declared as void.

The location should be chosen carefully. It is recommended to avoid mounting your pergola on a rainy day, facing prevailing winds, and under an overhanging tree due to debris.

Assembly is available for this product on request. Cost for assembly is €600 within 100km of our Glen of the Downs Showroom and €1.50 per km thereafter.

For each sliding wall added to this product an additional assembly charge of €100 will be added. For each windscreen added to this product an extra assembly charge of €50 will be added.

Ground must be levelled and prepared by customer before assembly.

Pre-Assembly Preparation

It is recommended for the ground to be 100% levelled. Not doing so can affect the functionality of the integral drainage system, as well as the levelling of the railings on any additional blinds added onto the structure.

A solid level base is recommended. For instance paving on top of a concrete base or sand is not suitable.

If installing on decking, you must ensure the pergola is connected to the subframe and not the decking board. The decking must be in good strong condition that it will not bend or break and it must be structurally sound.

The minimum concrete post for each of the legs required is 25cm x 25cm. It is important to anchor the pergola properly to the ground using the expansion screws provided.

Clean your pergola once or twice a year. Once in early spring to for the preparation of Summer, and once in late Autumn to remove dead leaves or other debris.

We advise against the use of high-pressure cleaners to avoid the risk of damage to paintwork and joints.

Start by removing any debris. Wash the structure with a sponge and lukewarm water. Gently rub the pergola to prevent any scratching. Rinse with clean water. Do not use detergent or an abrasive material. Dry with a clean cloth to avoid water marks.

If you have any stubborn stains, we recommend using a product specifically designed for the material of the pergola (i.e aluminium, steel).

The louvres need to be open when cleaning. Use a small bristle brush to remove any dirt and rinse thoroughly. In the case of automatic louvres, oil the mechanism where required to ensure a smooth operation.

In the case of additional blinds, they can accumulate dirt. These need to be wiped down and rinsed, allowing them to dry completely fry before closing. This prevents any possibility of water stains.

In addition to the cleaning of your pergola, please see general maintenance tips to be completed regularly:

Check the tightness of the screws regularly (at least once a year).

Oil fastening regularly (at least once a year).

Remove any leaves or branches from gutters to prevent the hinder of water flow.

Remove any water that might stagnate around the legs of the pergola (lift the post skirts).

Should any of the above recommendations not be followed or only partially, the warranty will be voided.
